New York Giants

Quarterback

Russell Wilson: START, QB1

Just seeing if you were paying attention. There’s a better chance Russell Wilson gets benched at halftime than there is he puts up a Top 12 performance. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, START RUSSELL WILSON IN FANTASY FOOTBALL. Even in Russell Wilson-only formats.

Running Back

Tyrone Tracy Jr.: SIT
Cam Skattebo: SIT

Until we see Jaxson Dart under center for the New York Football Giants, anybody not named Malik Nabers is a huge risk. Tyrone Tracy Jr. still maintains top dog status in the backfield, but had 2.4 yards per carry on 10 attempts in Week 1. His five targets are encouraging, but against a Dallas defense that held Saquon Barkley under 100 yards, I’m not risking putting Tracy in my lineup. I still prefer Cam Skattebo long term over Tracy, but at a 12% snap share, he’s not on the field enough to matter for fantasy.

Wide Receiver

Malik Nabers: START, WR1
Wan’Dale Robinson: SIT
Darius Slayton: SIT

As of right now, Malik Nabers remains a must-start. But if the Giants refuse to turn the keys over to Jaxson Dart and Russell Wilson plays as badly as he acted in his Subway commercial, there may be a conversation to be had.

Wan’Dale Robinson saw eight targets and would enter volume-based McDouble status if he continues to be involved. Dallas only allowed 152 passing yards to the Eagles. I highly doubt you’ll see much more out of the Giants.

Tight End

Theo Johnson: SIT

Is Russell Wilson starting for the Giants? Yes? Then don’t start Theo Johnson

Dallas Cowboys

Quarterback

Dak Prescott: START, QB1

Dak Prescott didn’t have a great game against Philadelphia, but he looked good enough that he’s a must-start against a Giants defense that was one of the ten to get pressure on the quarterback on less than 30% of dropbacks (per FantasyPoints Data).

Running Back

Javonte Williams: FLEX, RB3
Miles Sanders: SIT

Javonte Williams should once again carry the load for the Cowboys against a Giants defense that allowed over six yards per carry to Washington running backs in Week 1. Williams took 15 of 19 running back carries for the Cowboys and 100% inside the 10. He’s a volume-based RB3/FLEX play. Miles Sanders earned and fumbled away his chance for more touches in one single play.

Wide Receiver

CeeDee Lamb: START, WR1
George Pickens: START, volatile WR2/3 borderline
Jalen Tolbert: SIT

You don’t need me to tell you to start CeeDeeLamb. But did you know his preferred post-game celebratory meal is Oxtail? George Pickens‘ first game in Dallas was a quiet one. He remains a high-end WR3 with a ceiling few others offer. His chances for a spike week are as good as any against the Giants. They allowed Jayden Daniels to connect on two of three pass attempts of 20+ yards.

Tight End

Jake Ferguson: START, low-end TE1

Jake Ferguson is a low-end TE1 who should see somewhere around five targets. He faces a Giants defense that allowed a touchdown to Zach Ertz in Week 1.
