Seattle Seahawks
Quarterback
Sam Darnold: SIT, QB2 (Startable in Superflex)
Dare I say it, Sam Darnold… looks… good?! The passing volume leaves much to be desired, but Darnold bounced back over the last two weeks after struggling in his first Seahawks start. He’s thrown two touchdowns in back-to-back weeks and is a solid Superflex streamer against an Arizona defense allowing the third most passing yards per game.
Running Back
Kenneth Walker III: START, RB2
Zach Charbonnet: FLEX, RB3
After the Week 1 PANIC! At Lumen Field, Kenneth Walker is coming off back-to-back 18+ point games. I’m still fully on board with the Walker RB1 Train, but I would have liked to see a little more than a sub-3-yard per carry with Zach Charbonnet out of the lineup. But New Orleans has yet to allow a 100-yard rusher and has allowed just 3.6 yards per carry this season, tied with Tampa for fifth-lowest. Charbs is set to return, and split work is the expectation, but the Cardinals are a top 10 fantasy matchup for running backs. Walker is the better back, but both are startable.
Wide Receiver
Jaxon Smith-Njigba: START, WR1
Cooper Kupp: FLEX, WR5
Tory Horton: FLEX, WR5
Despite Sam Darnold completing 16 or fewer passes in two of three games, Jaxon Smith-Njigba is averaging 107.6 yards per game and the WR5 on the season. I’m not sure how long JSN can maintain WR1 numbers if this low passing volume continues, but his 37.7% target share is tops in the NFL. He’s a must-start and could very well finish as the WR1 overall for Week 4. Cooper Kupp‘s targets are too erratic, and Tory Horton needs a touchdown to squeak over double digits. Both are nothing more than desperation FLEX plays.
Tight End
AJ Barner: SIT
In such a low-volume passing offense, no Seahawks tight ends are viable fantasy starts.
Defense/Special Teams
Seattle Seahawks: START
Seattle ranks second in interceptions (5) and points allowed per game (15.7). They’re locked in as a weekly starting D/ST unit.
Arizona Cardinals
Quarterback
Kyler Murray: SIT, QB2 (Startable in Superflex)
Kyler Murray has been fine, but that’s not why you drafted him. He’s yet to flash the explosive upside he’s teased us with time and time again. In a difficult matchup against a division rival, leave Murray for Superflex leagues.
Running Back
James Conner* OUT FOR THE SEASON
Trey Benson: START, RB2
Emari Demercado: SIT
Prayers up for James Conner, who suffered a season-ending foot injury in Week 3. Up steps Trey Benson to take the reins as the lead back for the Cardinals, and he was already impressing. Among running backs with at least 20 carries, Benson ranks second with a 5.95 yards per carry and fifth with a 9.5% explosive run rate. Although Seattle presents a challenging matchup, Benson is locked in as a volume-based RB2 with upside.
Wide Receiver
Marvin Harrison Jr.: START, WR3
Zay Jones: SIT
Michael Wilson: SIT
If you ever wanted to know why Marvin Harrison Jr wasn’t producing… DROP of the year right here

Props to Marv for owning up to his faults, stating”…I’m not doing my job at a high enough level at the moment…”. It’s the world’s worst-kept secret that MHJ has the skillset to be amongst the top three receivers in the league (and not number two or three), but his maddening inconsistency relegates him to high-end WR3 status. Don’t expect a spike week against a Seattle defense allowing the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers.
Tight End
Trey McBride: START, TE1
You don’t need me to tell you to start Trey McBride. But did you know at Colorado State University, he was given the nickname “The Mule” for his reliability and capacity to carry the team’s workload.
Defense/Special Teams
Arizona Cardinals: STREAMER (2 Weeks)
The Cardinals have allowed over 350 total yards in two of three games, but are allowing just 17 points per game. They’re a decent streamer against the Seahawks this week, and an even better stash-and-hold for their Week 5 matchup against the Titans.
