New York Jets
Quarterback
Justin Fields: START, QB1
Tyrod Taylor: SIT, QB2 (startable in Superflex if Fields is out)
At the time of writing, there was no update as to Justin Fields‘ status for Week 4 as he tries to return from a concussion. If he’s active, he’s startable in all formats. If it’s the Tyrod Taylor show again, he’s startable as a desperation play in Superflex leagues up against the Dolphins. Miami has allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.
Running Back
Breece Hall: START, RB2
Braelon Allen: SIT
Breece Hall has been abysmal over the past two weeks, totaling 50 rushing yards and six catches for 40 receiving yards. But the backfield belongs to him, and he’s in a phenomenal get-right spot against the Dolphins’ defense, which is allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing running backs.
Wide Receiver
Garrett Wilson: START, WR1
Josh Reynolds: SIT
Tyler Johnson: SIT
Justin Fields. Tyrod Taylor. Chad Pennington. Vinnie Testaverde. Doesn’t matter. Garrett Wilson is a must-start, regardless of who’s under center for the Jets.
Tight End
Mason Taylor: SIT
You’re not starting Mason Taylor in fantasy unless you’re Jason Taylor.
Defense/Special Teams
New York Jets: SIT
I can’t in good conscience recommend starting a defense in fantasy football that’s allowing over 30 points per game.
Miami Dolphins
Quarterback
Tua Tagovailoa: SIT
Even though the Dolphins’ offense looked respectable against the Bills, Tua Tagovailoa is playing too poorly to consider him startable, even in Superflex. He’s thrown for fewer than 150 yards in two of his three starts, and already has five interceptions on the season.
Running Back
De’Von Achane: START, RB1
Ollie Gordon II: SIT
Jaylen Wright: SIT
You don’t need me to tell you to start De’Von Achane. But did you know one of his favorite hobbies is barbecuing?
Wide Receiver
Jaylen Waddle: START, WR2
Tyreek Hill: START, WR2
Malik Washington: SIT
The Miami offense has looked better as of late, and both Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill are in WR2 range in a top-10 fantasy matchup against the Jets. Both are coming off back-to-back games of double-digit fantasy points.
Tight End
???
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME IF THE DOLPHINS HAVE A TIGHT END ON THEIR ROSTER?!?!
Defense/Special Teams
Miami Dolphins: SIT
I can’t in good conscience recommend starting a defense in fantasy football that’s allowing the most points per game in the entire NFL.
