Game Info

Kickoff: Sunday, September 20, 2026, 8:05 PM ET

Location: SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, CA

Network: CBS

Las Vegas Raiders

Quarterback

Kirk Cousins: SIT

-6 yards a-rushing
5 Carries attempted
4 Teams he’s played for
3 Passing Touchdowns
2 Interceptions
1 Mediocre QB.

Running Back

Ashton Jeanty: START, RB1
Mike Washington Jr.: SIT
Dylan Laube

Ashton Jeanty sure looks like that bell cow we had hope for last year, handling 23 attempts and getting 6 targets for his third 30 burger of his career. If he pushes north of 20 opportunities per game, Jeanty will soon be among the top five or so fantasy running backs. Mike Washington Jr. only touched the ball seven times, but made the most of it with 5.86 yards per carry and a league-leading 14.3% explosive run rate. He’s not seeing enough work to start yet, but he’s on the fringe of being FLEX-worthy.

Wide Receiver

Tre Tucker: FLEX, WR4
Jalen Nailor: SIT
Jack Bech: SIT

Until we see Fernando Mendoza take over, I’d much prefer to keep any and all Raiders wide receivers out of my lineup. Tre Tucker ran 87% of routes, and I guess is ok as a FLEX play, but especially since we’re weeks away from byes, you should be able to find a better option.

Tight End

Brock Bowers: START, TE1 (If Active)
Michael Mayer: START, TE1 (If Bowers OUT)

If Brock Bowers plays, he stays (in your lineup). If Bowers is out, Michael Mayer stays (in your lineup). The Raiders take on a Chargers team that just gave up 24.5 points to the position; but to be fair, that tight end was Trey McBride.

Defense/Special Teams

Las Vegas Raiders: SIT

A respectable five sacks and two turnovers (against the Dolphins), but this unit isn’t talented enough to consider for fantasy purposes.

Los Angeles Chargers

Quarterback

Justin Herbert: START, QB1

Wanna know at least one, two, or three reasons Justin Herbert did nothing against the Cardinals?

To make matters worse, the Chargers’ only bright spot on offense (Ladd McConkey) left the game late in the third with a rib injury after taking a shot, and his status is still uncertain. The Los Angeles offense sputtered mightily after Ladd left the game, so if he does miss time, we may need to temper expectations for this offense. I still believe in Joe Hendry Herbert and his dark horse candidacy for QB1 overall this season, but things are admittedly #notgreatbob to start the season. This is the matchup to get right if the offense is at full strength. He’s my QB12 on the week, meaning he’s the very last guy I’m assigning “START” status to.

Running Back

Omarion Hampton: START, RB1
Keaton Mitchell: SIT
Kimani Vidal: SIT

I’m simply giving Omarion Hampton a mulligan. Although the Raiders were able to hold De’Von Achane to 74 yards, the Chargers offense is much better than the Dolphins…right?

Wide Receiver

Ladd McConkey: START, WR1 (If Active)
Quentin Johnston: START, WR3
Tre’ Harris: START, FLEX (If McConkey OUT)

Ladd McConkey looked phenomenal before getting hurt, and at the time of writing, there was no word on whether he’s playing this week or not. I’ve heard he’s day-to-day; I’ve heard the IR is possible. If he’s active, he’s in your lineup. Tre’ Harris was solid in his absence, with three catches on six targets for 20 yards. He’s a volume-based FLEX if McConkey misses. It was an abysmal performance for Quentin Johnston in Week 1, but you know what you’re getting when you draft the modern-day Will Fuller V. You start him each and every week, and expect a goose egg or a golden goose. There is no in between.

Tight End

David Njoku: SIT

It’s hard to trust five catches and five targets on less than 50% of routes run. And no, you’re not starting Oronde Gadsden either.

Defense/Special Teams

Los Angeles Chargers: START

Is it just me, or does it look like Kirk got that jersey from Kohl’s?
