Kickoff: Sunday, September 20, 2026, 4:25 PM ET

Location: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX

Network: FOX

Washington Commanders

Quarterback

Jayden Daniels: START, QB1

Jayden Daniels’ first of the season left a lot to be desired, as the 3rd-year quarterback (is it ok if I type the number three, Jayden?) failed to surpass 170 passing yards despite 34 attempts. However, against a Dallas defense that just got stomped out by Jaxson Dart and the Giants, Daniels and co. should have little problem making it two Sundays in a row that Dallas gives up multiple passing touchdowns.

Running Back

Jacory Croskey-Merritt: FLEX, RB3
Rachaad White: FLEX, RB4

Dallas didn’t just get beat up through the air; the GMen ran for 165 yards on the ground and into the end zone twice. Jacory Croskey-Merritt took the majority of the Commanders’ carries out of the backfield, but had a sub-four yards per carry and as many explosive runs as I did. If he fails to get into the end zone against the Eagles, Bill doesn’t sniff double-digit fantasy points. Rachaad White had one red zone carry just like JCM, but played 93.3% of third downs, which, once again, Bill played as many as I did.

Wide Receiver

Terry McLaurin: START, WR3
Stefon Diggs: FLEX, WR4
Antonio Williams: SIT

As a fan of Antonio Williams’ game, it was fantastic to see him catch all four of his targets and come down with his first professional touchdown. But I can’t start a guy in fantasy with a 28.9 routes run percentage. Terry McLaurin ran over 90% of routes, and Stefon Diggs had nine targets. They’re still comfortably ahead of him in the pecking order. For now.

Tight End

Chig Okonkwo: SIT

Chig Okonk-no. After leaving last week’s game with a hamstring injury, it’s unlikely he’ll see a full helping of snaps even if he takes the field. Isaiah Likely did just torch Dallas in Week 1, but starting Okonkwo feels like taking a gamble on his active status since these teams play in the late-afternoon slate.

Defense/Special Teams

Washington Commanders: SIT

Not interested in starting either defense in a game with an implied total over 50.

Dallas Cowboys

Quarterback

Dak Prescott: START, QB1

Dak Prescott should bounce back bigly against a Commanders defense that allowed Jalen Hurts to throw for three tuddys. I’m starting him with confidence and trusting that his talented assortment of weapons helps him finish in the top 12 QBs this week with the upside for more.

Running Back

Javonte Williams: START, RB2
Emari Demercado: SIT

Washington just allowed 126 yards and 5.44 yards per carry to the Eagles in Week 1. Javonte Williams wasn’t efficient, but handled 12 carries, caught all five of his targets, and handled 100% of the Cowboys’ goal line work. He’s at worst a weekly RB2.

Wide Receiver

Ceedee Lamb: START, WR1
George Pickens: START, WR1

You’re not sitting either one of CeeDee Lamb or George Pickens. They’re the nacho cheese and jalapeños at the gas station “kitchen”. Lamb is the cheese: no matter where you go, it’s always the same consistency and always an elite option. Pickens is the jalapeños, which is either the best decision you’ve made all week or the reason for your stomach ulcer. Doesn’t matter. Why am I hungry all of a sudden?

Anyways, as previously mentioned, the Commanders just allowed Hurts to put up a hat trick of passing touchdowns, and the Cowboys have a more talented assortment of receiving weapons. Washington also allowed the sixth-most points to opposing receivers in 2025, so with our small sample size this year, this still profiles as a plus matchup for these two studs.

Tight End

Jake Ferguson: STREAMER

Can we please stop with the Jake Ferguson is a TE1 talk? If Lamb and Pickens are on the field, he’s a JAG. You’re hoping he finds the end zone or else you’ll be disappointed with his total.

Defense/Special Teams

Dallas Cowboys: SIT
