New York Giants
Quarterback
Jaxson Dart: START, QB1
Jaxson Dart opened the season with a Sunday Night Football victory over Dallas, completing nearly 80% of his passes and tossing three tuddys. Toss in 54 rushing yards, and that’s a recipe for a fantasy W each and every week. The Rams defense has been one of the best units in all of football over the past few seasons, but they’ll be placing newly aquired Myles Garrett on IR just as they get back recently unretired Aaron Donald. Los Angeles will also be coming of a trip to Austraila and a butt whooping down under, which should only help Dart’s case to put up QB1 numbers on Monday Night Football.
Running Back
Cam Skattebo: START, RB2
Tyrone Tracy Jr.: SIT
Devin Singletary: SIT
Cam Skattebo is that sweet bulldog puppy that no matter how many times you turn him around, he still runs straight into the wall. Returning from last year’s injury, Skat handled 18 carries and all of the work inside the five and a score. The Rams are fresh off allowing San Fran to run for 174 rushing yards on 5.8 yards per carry. He’s a high-end RB2 who should get into the end zone at least once.
Wide Receiver
Malik Nabers: START, WR1
Malachi Fields: SIT
Darnell Mooney: SIT
Malik Nabers played well even banged up, and hopefully should be ready to go come Monday. He only played 52% of snaps in the Giants’ Week 1 dub and still managed to lead the team in targets and finish second in both receptions and yardage. Malachi Fields looked solid in his rookie debut, with 7.5 yards after the catch and an ADoT of nearly 18 yards. He only saw four targets, but could have spike weeks in the right matchup.
Tight End
Isaiah Likely: START, TE1
Isaiah is Likely to score another TD, amirite?

Dart’s trend of targeting the tight end continued from his rookie season, with Likely just one target and one first-read target behind Nabers. If he remains the second option in the passing game for Dart, the breakout we’ve all been waiting on for Likely is… probable.
Defense/Special Teams
New York Giants: SIT
Not against the Rams.
Los Angeles Rams
Quarterback
Matthew Stafford: START (in Superflex), Borderline QB1
Matthew Stafford opened the game with three straight incompletions, and it didn’t get much better from there. The reigning MVP finished with 15 completions for 155 passing yards, no touchdowns, and a pick. Hopefully Stafford left this performance in the land down under, but the Giants aren’t a pushover any longer. New York held the high-flying Dallas offense to 244 total yards, only 175 of which was passing. The Giants are far from an elite defense, but you could have a safer option in 1QB leagues.
Running Back
Kyren Williams: START, RB1
Blake Corum: FLEX, RB3
Ronnie Rivers: SIT
Kyren Williams had one less touch than Blake Corum despite a worse yards per carry by nearly two yards (3.73 to 5.4). But three targets, playing 77% of third downs, and four red zone carries and a score to Corum’s goose egg in both is why Williams remains the RB1 and Corum is merely a FLEX. Both are startable despite the Giants holding Dallas to 69 rushing yards.
Wide Receiver
Puka Nacua: START, WR1
Davante Adams: START, WR3
Starting Puka Nacua is a no-brainer. He’s the gas station fried chicken that people make a face at the first time you mention it, but once they’ve actually tried some, they go quiet and ask which exit. Both Puka and Davante Adams were kept out of the end zone but played their regular roles in the offense and are still locked in as fantasy starters. Even in a disastrous game for the Rams’ offense, Puka still mustered 12.4 PPR points, which is a far cry better than some other Week 1 duds (cough Ja’Marr Chase cough). It would be great to see Adams play more than one snap inside the 10 yard line, however.
Tight End
Colby Parkinson: SIT
Tyler Higbee: SIT
Terrance Ferguson: SIT

Defense/Special Teams
Los Angeles Rams: SIT
I originally had LA as a streamer, but I think I’d rather wait a week to see how losing Garrett and the jet lag from Australia impacts this team.
