Kickoff: Sunday, October 4, 2026, 4:25 PM ET

Location: Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, CA

Network: CBS

Denver Broncos

Quarterback

Bo Nix: Superflex QB2 (Barely)

It’s not Bo time. Bo Nix is barely averaging over 200 passing yards per game, has four touchdowns to three picks, and the third-lowest aDOT in the league at 5.9. A bottom-10 matchup against the Niners isn’t one I expect him to do any sort of bouncing back. He’s still in your lineup in Superflex, but avoid him at all costs in 1QB.

Running Back

J.K. Dobbins: FLEX, RB3
RJ Harvey: FLEX, RB3
Tyler Badie: SIT

A top-10 matchup is all fine and dandy, but J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey vulturing each other’s production keeps both as FLEX plays. They’re the Temu version of Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson.

Wide Receiver

Jaylen Waddle: START, WR2
Courtland Sutton: SIT

Pat Bryant: SIT

Maybe Jaylen Waddle will play the “every other game” game this season and score over 20 points after sandwiching his big Week 2 with under seven-point performances in Weeks 1 and 3. Courtland Sutton had his best game of the season in Week 3. Problem is, it was 7.6 fantasy points.

Tight End

Evan Engram: tHe gLoB

Defense/Special Teams

Denver Broncos: SIT

The Niners have yet to give up a sack and are scoring the 2nd most points per game in the league.

San Francisco 49ers

Quarterback

Brock Purdy: START, QB1

Denver is allowing nearly 400 yards per game (huh?!), and Brock Purdy has been balling out. He’s currently QB2 on the season and has yet to have a fully healthy receiver room. Nine touchdown passes. 72.3% completion percentage. 9.5 yards per attempt. He’s Purdy good.

Running Back

Christian McCaffrey: START, RB1
Kaelon Black: SIT
Jordan James: SIT

You’ve been starting Christian McCaffrey for years because he can do it all. If you’re hungry and headed to Starbucks, look no further than the Bacon, Gouda & Egg Sandwich. Just like CMC, it’s versatile, dependable, and built to carry the whole team. Or catch passes for the whole team. He does a lot of that, too.

You thought I was going for the Gouda/Good-a joke, didn’t you?

Wide Receiver

Deebo Samuel Sr: START, WR3
Mike Evans: SIT
Jacob Cowing: IR

Mike Evans is dealing with fractured ribs and has a shot to play on Sunday, but his status was unclear at the time of writing. Deebo Samuel has a league-high 13.8 yards after the catch per reception, but also has the lowest aDOT at 3.3. He’s a WR3 if Evans doesn’t go, and probably a sit if he starts.

Tight End

George Kittle: START, TE1

As a huge wrestling fan, I’m sure George Kittle can appreciate that his yards per route run is 3.16.

Defense/Special Teams

San Francisco 49ers: SIT

This defense isn’t allowing many points, but they’re also not getting to the quarterback or forcing turnovers.
