Sit/Start 2026 Week 4: Reviewing All Fantasy Relevant Players in Every Game

Sit or Start recommendations for EVERY fantasy-relevant player in Week 4 of the 2026 NFL season!

Game Info

Kickoff: Sunday, October 4, 2026, 4:25 PM ET

Location: Lumen Field, Seattle, WA

Network: CBS

Los Angeles Chargers

Quarterback

Justin Herbert: SIT, QB2 (Startable in Superflex (Barely))

This hurts. But Justin Herbert is barely startable in any format this week facing the Seahawks. Seattle allows the fewest total yards, rush yards, pass yards, and points per game.

Running Back

Omarion Hampton: START, RB2
Keaton Mitchell: SIT

All the offseason talk about Omarion Hampton not getting bellcow touches, yet he’s averaging nearly 17 carries per game and has 10 inside the red zone. But a 3.86 yards per carry and 2% explosive run rate isn’t gonna get the job done.

Wide Receiver

Ladd McConkey: START, WR3
Quentin Johnston: SIT
Tre’ Harris: SIT

Ladd McConkey still isn’t fully healthy, and this offense is a pure dumpster fire. You’re starting him and his 17.4% target share if he suits up, but he’s the only Chargers receiver worth considering against the shutdown Seattle defense.

Tight End

Oronde Gadsden: SIT

No Charlie Kolar. No David Njoku. No points for Oronde Gadsden.

Defense/Special Teams

Los Angeles Chargers: STREAMER

The Chargers have seven sacks and six takeaways this season.

Seattle Seahawks

Quarterback

Sam Darnold: SIT, QB2 (Startable in Superflex)

A decent matchup and having Jaxon Smith-Njigba to throw to makes Sam Darnold startable in Superflex, but I’m hesitant to start him in 1QB against a Chargers defense holding opposing pass games under 250 passing yards and averaging two forced turnovers a game.

Running Back

Jadarian Price: SIT
Emanuel Wilson: SIT
George Holani: SIT

All three of these fellas are off the fantasy radar until someone starts to get a larger snap share.

Wide Receiver

Jaxon Smith-Njigba: START, WR1
Rashid Shaheed: SIT
Cooper Kupp: SIT

You’re 100% starting Jaxon Smith-Njigba every week, even though people still seem hesitant to give him his due. It’s the same with the Chocolate Cream Cold Brew at Starbucks. A little underrated until you actually have it, but quickly becoming one of the best orders on the menu.

Tight End

AJ Barner: SIT

An increased role with J.J. McCarthy targets in Week 3 doesn’t do enough to sour the taste of three combined targets the two weeks prior. Go grab Darren Waller off the wire instead.

Defense/Special Teams

Seattle Seahawks: START

A smothering defense. An opponent currently in the Walls of Jericho. Start them.
