Atlanta Falcons
Quarterback
Michael Penix Jr.: SIT, QB2 (Startable in Superflex)
It’s an ok matchup against NOLA, but I’d expect a heaping helping of Bijan against the Saints. Michael Penix Jr. was efficient, but tallied just 256 passing yards in his season debut. A 10.24 yards per attempt was encouraging, but only start him if you’re in need in Superflex.
Running Back
Bijan Robinson: START, RB1
Brian Robinson: SIT
You can never go wrong starting Bijan Robinson, and you can never go wrong ordering a Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino. You’re paying a premium, but it’s absolutely loaded with everything you could want in one package.
Wide Receiver
Drake London: START, WR2
Jahan Dotson: SIT
Olamide Zaccheaus: SIT
Drake London could really use some consistent quarterback play. He’s likely to find the end zone against NOLA, as they’ve allowed four wide receivers to do so in just three games. After his huge breakout game in Green Bay, we’re slotting him back into our lineups (with confidence this time!) as a WR2 with the upside for more.
Tight End
Kyle Pitts Sr.: START, TE1
HEAR ME OUT.

The snap share is discouraging. The results have been brutal. But I’m inclined to give Kyle Pitts just one more chance. His bounce-back starts on Monday Night Football in NOLA. The Saints allow 20.7 points per game to the position, fourth-most in the league. I’m way higher than most on Pitts this week, and I totally get it if you’d like to look elsewhere.
Defense/Special Teams
Atlanta Falcons: STREAMER
Atlanta’s defense has completely shut down the run and tallied five sacks in the first three games.
New Orleans Saints
Quarterback
Tyler Shough: START, QB1
Hop on in the Shough truck! Tyler Shough is currently a top-three fantasy quarterback and tops the position in passing attempts (44) and dropbacks per game (48.7). He’s averaging over 300 passing yards per game and has thrown eight scores already. He’s a QB1 until further notice.
Running Back
Travis Etienne Jr: OUT
Alvin Kamara: FLEX, RB3
Kendre Miller: SIT
CJ Donaldson: SIT
With Travis Etienne Jr. out for an extended period of time, Alvin Kamara gets the start against Atlanta. But the Falcons have helped opponents run games in check, a bottom-three matchup allowing a league-low 48 yards per game. Pass if possible. Definitely pass on Kendre Miller and the rest of the options here.
Wide Receiver
Chris Olave: START, WR1
Bryce Lance: SIT
Devaughn Vele: START, WR3
A top-10 fantasy matchup is on deck for the Saints pass catchers, and nearly 12 targets per game keeps Chris Olave right in WR1 land. Devaughn Vele is right behind him with over seven targets per game and has emerged as a weekly WR3.
Tight End
Juwan Johnson: START, TE1
Averaging six targets and over 16 points per game, Juwan Johnson gets a top-three matchup against the Falcons and is a firm start as one of the premier red zone threats in the league through three weeks.
Defense/Special Teams
New Orleans Saints: START
Bijan is very #good, but the jury’s still out on Penix. I’m willing to take the plunge here in this heated division matchup.
