Game Info

Kickoff: Sunday, October 11, 2026, 4:25 PM ET

Location: State Farm Stadium, Glendale, AZ

Network: FOX

Detroit Lions

Quarterback

Jared Goff: START, QB1

Let’s see. Game total over 50 points. Defense that allows the fifth-most points per game and the third-most total touchdowns to quarterbacks. Has over 1,200 passing yards and no turnovers in four games. You tell me if you should start Jared Goff.

Running Back

Jahmyr Gibbs: START, RB1
Sione Vaki: SIT
Jacob Saylors: SIT

There are legitimate fantasy football decisions to make this week. Jahmyr Gibbs isn’t one of them. He’s basically Bop It. Not all that intimidating at first glance, but once things start speeding up (and he does that quickly), good luck keeping up.

Wide Receiver

Amon-Ra St. Brown: START, WR1
Jameson Williams: START, WR2
Isaac Teslaa: SIT

No, I’m not concerned about Amon-Ra St. Brown. Dude’s “down games” are 11.9 and 15.5 fantasy points, and you’re complaining? Shut up and fire him and Jameson Williams up against a Cardinals defense that’s given up the most touchdowns to receivers this year. Jamo had his best game of the season against Carolina but is yet to find the end zone in 2026. This feels like a good week to break that streak.

Tight End

Sam Laporta: START, TE1

The current TE5 on the season, Sam Laporta has nine red zone targets this season and a top three matchup to boot. Must. Start.

Defense/Special Teams

Detroit Lions: SIT

Nearly four sacks per game isn’t enough to mask the most yards and 2nd most points allowed per game.

Arizona Cardinals

Quarterback

Jacoby Brissett: START, QB1

Jacoby Brissett was a tad shaky at times against the Giants, but as my good pal Brett Ford pointed out, while Josh Allen is the QB1 in fantasy, whoever plays the Lions is QB2. No, really. Detroit allows the most net passing yards per game, has given up a league-high 13 touchdowns to quarterbacks, and allows opposing QBs over 30 points per game.

Running Back

Jeremiyah Love: START, RB1
Tyler Allgeier: FLEX, RB3
Bam Knight: SIT

There’s little doubt this is Jeremiyah Love‘s backfield, but I don’t see Tyler Allgeier just going away. Allgeier had six fewer carries in Week 4 and stiff-armed Deandre Baker’s soul for a 22-yard touchdown run. There are whispers Love is dealing with another ankle tweak, so it’s possible Allgeier gets some extra touches if he is banged up. Either way, Love is an easy RB1 in what should be a high-scoring affair, and Allgeier is an easy start to make at FLEX.

Wide Receiver

Michael Wilson: START, WR1
Marvin Harrison Jr.: FLEX, WR4
Kendrick Bourne: SIT

Marvin Harrison Jr. caught a beautiful fade in the corner of the end zone on the game’s first drive to score his first touchdown of the season. And that’s it. Michael Wilson led the Cardinals with 13 targets and tied Trey McBride for the team lead in catches. He has 30 targets over the Cardinals’ last two games and 44 targets on the season, but he has yet to surpass 100 receiving yards in a game and has just one score. Detroit allows the second-most points to the position, propelling Wilson to WR1 status on the week and keeping Marv from being a rage drop at least one more week.

Tight End

Trey McBride: START, TE1

There’s not much to decide about whether Trey McBride belongs in your lineup, which is why Connect Four feels about right. Nothing flashy. Just steady, methodical scoring until someone wins. It’s the person with McBride. They win.

Defense/Special Teams

Arizona Cardinals: SIT

Allowing nearly 30 points per game, in a game with a nearly 55-point implied total. Yeah, no thanks.
