Kickoff: Sunday, November 8, 2026, 1:00 PM ET

Location: Northwest Stadium, Landover, MD

Network: FOX

Los Angeles Rams

Quarterback

Matthew Stafford: START, QB1

The volume that was propping up Matthew Stafford early in the season has plummeted, throwing over 30 times just once in his last three games after three straight with over 50. Losing Davante Adams has proven to be a big deal, with Stafford throwing for less than 200 yards in both games played without him. He’s still a QB1 for at least Week 9, with the Commanders allowing the fourth-most points to the position. Washington is giving up 26 points per game to opposing offenses and nearly 250 passing yards per game. The only quarterback who failed to score a touchdown against them is the recently benched Tanner McKee.

Running Back

Kyren Williams: START, RB1
Blake Corum: FLEX, RB3
Dean Connors: OUT

Kyren Williams is missing his midseason pass-game work, but still an elite fantasy option thanks to five rushing touchdowns in as many games. Blake Corum has played well, but it’s Williams who they call on in the red zone, with Kyren handling 21 red zone and eight goal line carries compared to Corum’s nine and two, respectively. Washington isn’t a great matchup and holds opposing run games to 3.6 yards per carry, but Williams has the workload and role to remain an RB1 against nearly anybody. Corum has found the end zone lately as well, scoring in four straight and churning out high rushing totals on limited touches thanks to his elite efficiency. Corum ranks top 10 in both yards per carry and explosive run rate, keeping him a high-end FLEX play despite handling the lesser half of the backfield work in LA.

Wide Receiver

Puka Nacua: START, WR1
Tutu Atwell: SIT
Konata Mumpfield: SIT

Puka Nacua belongs in your lineup every week. He’s the Costco employee who looks like he’s about to enforce the “one per customer” rule, then hands you another sample every time you walk by. You keep waiting to get cut off, but they just keep feeding you. Konata Mumpfield just isn’t ready.

Tight End

Tyler Higbee: SIT
Terrance Ferguson: SIT
Davis Allen: SIT

Washington has allowed the second-most fantasy points to tight ends, which would normally make this a great spot to attack. Unfortunately, the Rams have about 17 of them. Colby Parkinson is in danger of missing another game, while Terrance Ferguson returned to practice this week but still needs to be activated from IR. Good matchup, absolutely no idea which tight end you’re supposed to trust. If you’re going to make me choose, it’d be Tyler Higbee.

Defense/Special Teams

Los Angeles Rams: STREAMER

The Rams allow the fifth-fewest yards per game, but Washington is tied for the fewest giveaways. So don’t expect many opportunities for defensive touchdowns.

Washington Commanders

Quarterback

Jayden Daniels: START (in Superflex), Borderline QB1

The pairing of Jayden Daniels‘ rushing floor and uberly talented upside makes him a weekly start regardless of matchup. But it is concerning that Daniels has merely one more game with multiple touchdowns than he does with just one. But he’s yet to turn the ball over and is startable in all formats despite the below-average matchup.

Running Back

Rachaad White: FLEX, RB3
Austin Ekeler: SIT
Robert Henry Jr.: SIT

Rachaad White has back-to-back games of 10+ points thanks to back-to-back games finding the end zone. He’s not doing anything of note, but merely the beneficiary of Jacory Croskey-Merritt being out. The Rams are a terrible matchup and have only allowed three touchdowns to the running back position this season. White’s a desperation FLEX who you’re only starting if you need a warm body to put in your lineup.

Wide Receiver

Stefon Diggs: START, WR3
Antonio Williams: FLEX, WR4
Treylon Burks: SIT

It’s a brutal matchup for the Washington Football wide receivers, facing a Rams defense that allows the fewest catches to the position per game (just 8.8!) and ranks in the bottom five for points allowed. Stefon Diggs is the floor play with over seven targets per game, but his 8.5 aDOT and 3.0 YAC/reception cap his ceiling. Antonio Williams is the more volatile option of the two, but I’ve waxed poetic about his big-play ability all season. If you’re going to take a shot, he’s the guy who can win you your week.

Tight End

Chig Okonkwo: SIT

Chig Okonkwo still doesn’t have a touchdown, and he won’t be catching his first of the season against the Rams. They’ve only given up one to a tight end this season.

Defense/Special Teams

Washington Commanders: SIT

Washington allows the seventh-most points per game and is a 5.5-point home underdog. Sit. Oops, forgot a letter.
