Quarterback
Kirk Cousins: START (in Superflex), Borderline QB1
I mean… you have to after this.

Kirk Cousins is the Dad’s champion at quarterback, and has been a pretty valuable fantasy starter for most of the season. Cousins has thrown for multiple touchdowns as well as 240 passing yards in all but one game each. The matchup is a tough one against the Niners, but they only have three interceptions on the season and gave up three passing scores to Michael Penix Jr. before their Week 8 bye.
Running Back
Ashton Jeanty: START, RB2
Mike Washington Jr.: FLEX, RB3
Dylan Laube: SIT
A career-low 40% snap share and just two carries for Ashton Jeanty have sent the masses into a panic. While I understand the worry and would be lying if I said I wasn’t concerned at all, his production has pretty much come through the pass game this season. Mike Washington Jr. saw a career high (by a mile) 25 carries, but only tallied 83 yards on 3.3 yards per carry. Head Coach Klint Kubiak said the backfield workload will adjust on a week-to-week basis, and while I think Washington has certainly earned extra touches, I’m not ready to declare a state of emergency for Jeanty. His 17.2% target share ranks third at the position, and the matchup couldn’t be better. The Niners allow seven receptions to running backs per game, the highest in the league. I see Jeanty bouncing back just fine and Washington having enough production to be a solid FLEX.
Wide Receiver
Tre Tucker: START, WR3
Jalen Nailor: SIT
Jack Bech: SIT
Held without a catch last week after two consecutive games of 20+, Tre Tucker is a borderline WR3 in a tough matchup against the 49ers. San Fran holds opposing receivers to 1.33 yards per route run, the third-lowest in the league. Jalen Nailor scored his first touchdown of the season in Week 8 but is still off the fantasy radar. Jack Bech is still on the roster.
Tight End
Brock Bowers: START, TE1
Starting Brock Bowers is like ordering a 6-piece McNuggets and opening the box to find ten. You were just trying to fill the tight end spot, and somehow you ended up with a whole lot extra.
Defense/Special Teams
Las Vegas Raiders: SIT
San Francisco has allowed the fewest sacks in the league and scores the fourth-most points. Easy sit.
San Francisco 49ers
Quarterback
Brock Purdy: START, QB1
Brock Purdy started the season 🔥en fuego🔥 but has cooled off considerably over his last three starts, throwing four touchdowns and three interceptions over that span. But the Raiders are good for what ails him, as they’re a top-five matchup for quarterbacks and allow the highest aDOT in the league at 9.4. Purdy could wind up with both Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel back in the lineup, but his floor is high enough to consider him a start in all formats with or without them.
Running Back
Christian McCaffrey: START, RB1
Kaelon Black: SIT
Jordan James: SIT
Starting Christian McCaffrey makes setting your RB1 each week a breeze. He’s the hotel room with blackout curtains, great shower pressure, enough outlets, and free breakfast. You keep waiting to find something wrong with it. There just isn’t.
Wide Receiver
Mike Evans: START, WR2
Deebo Samuel Sr: FLEX, WR4
Jordan Watkins: SIT
Mike Evans is rumored to likely return coming out of the 49ers Week 8 bye and gets a top-10 matchup against the Raiders. Evans 3.65 yards per route run ranks 2nd at the position, and his 42.7% air yards share is top 10, making him a high-end WR2 with upside if he can suit up. Keep an eye on practice reports as we approach Sunday. Deebo Samuel also has a chance to return and would be a solid FLEX in a good matchup.
Tight End
George Kittle: START, TE1
George Kittle ranks inside the top five in nearly every stat for tight ends, including targets, receptions, reception yards, air yards share, red zone targets, first read targets, yards per route run, and most importantly, fantasy points per game. He’s a lock as a TE1 each and every week, and the Raiders defense is allowing over 18 points per game to the position this season.
Defense/Special Teams
San Francisco 49ers: SIT
The 49ers are 10-point favorites, but Las Vegas can score points, and the Niners rarely force turnovers.
