Baltimore Ravens

Quarterbacks

Lamar Jackson (Start, QB1)

Week 5 was a downer for Lamar Jackson. Not only did the Ravens lose in dramatic fashion, Jackson was essentially the one to cough away the game. He had an interception late in the fourth quarter with a chance to seal the victory, and a possession later, fumbled the ball over to Pittsburgh who would go on to win. In his defense, Jackson’s receivers didn’t help his day, and he’ll look to bounce back in London against a Titans defense that is allowing the 22nd most fantasy points to QBs this fantasy season.

Running Backs

Gus Edwards (Sit), Justice Hill (Sit)

Normally you’d want to ride the hot hand for a ‘back, but in Baltimore’s case, this is a backfield worth avoiding if you can afford to do so. Justice Hill out-snapped Gus Edwards 55.7% to 42.9 against the Steelers, and was more of a threat in the receiving game and red zone. Hill found the end zone via one of his seven carries, and caught all four of his targets for 13 yards. It was Edwards who had more carries though – 15 for 48 yards – and only two receptions on three targets for one yard. The Titans’ defense is allowing an average of 14.8 fantasy points to opposing RBs this year.

Wide Receivers/ Tight Ends

Zay Flowers (Start, WR3), Mark Andrews (Start, TE1)

Despite the fact that Jackson had issues of his own with the football, some of his receivers did him no favors. Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, and even Nelson Agholor all had key drops in various moments. Odell Beckham Jr. returned from injury, and exited the game at some point, but returned to catch only two of four targets for 13 yards. Coming off an 11-target game, it feels as if you can only trust Flowers right now as far as Baltimore WRs go; you are just waiting on him to finally find the end zone.

Mark Andrews had his season-high in targets with 10, catching six passes for 65 scoreless yards. He’ll look to become the first tight end this year to find the end zone against the Tennessee defense.

Tennessee Titans

Quarterbacks

Ryan Tannehill (Sit)

The days of fantasy relevancy for Ryan Tannehill are behind him. Entering Week 6, he owns a 2:5 passing touchdown to interception ratio, and the Titans offense continues to lean on its run game to move the ball. Leave Tanne’ on your wire as he is set to face a Ravens defense that ranks as the second-best defense against QBs this season, according to CBS Sports.

Running Backs

Derrick Henry (Start, RB2), Tyjae Spears (Sit)

The Colts held Derrick Henry in check last week, allowing him to gain only 43 yards on 13 carries, as well as three catches on three targets for 19 yards. Henry has eclipsed the 100-yard mark on the ground only once this season, and to his standards, he’s been a letdown. Not to mention, rookie Tyjae Spears had just four fewer touches than Henry in the loss to Indianapolis, and even scored his first career touchdown. Perhaps his role is growing weekly. Brace for an RB2 return for Henry against a stingy Ravens defense.

Wide Receivers/Tight End

DeAndre Hopkins (Start, WR3), Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (Sit), Chigoziem Okonwko (Sit)

DeAndre Hopkins has yet to find the end zone as a Titan, but is coming off his best game of the season. Against the Colts, he turned eight receptions on 11 targets into 140 yards. It was his first 100-yard game of the year, and will continue to get the majority of Tannehill’s targets. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine is the defacto WR2 in this offense with Treylon Burks nursing a knee injury, but he is best left on the wire.

Tight end Chigoziem Okonwko turned in a mediocre day against Indianapolis, turning five receptions on nine targets into 33 yards. However, he’s lining up against a Ravens defense that has allowed just 122 yards and zero touchdowns to TE’s this season.
