Denver Broncos
Quarterback
Bo Nix: START, QB1
Bo Nix has thrown for one touchdown in his last two games, but that’ll change come Sunday night. Washington had given up 13 passing touchdowns in its previous four games prior to serving Tua Tagovailoa a goose egg before the bye. The Commanders give up the fifth-most points to quarterbacks and propel Nix back to QB1 territory.
Running Back
RJ Harvey: START, RB2
Jaleel McLaughlin: SIT
Tyler Badie: SIT
With J.K. Dobbins on the shelf, the Denver backfield belongs to RJ Harvey. The rookie failed to do much against the Chiefs in Week 11, but saw a season high in snaps and total opportunities (14 carries and targets). The Commanders set up as a potential breakout week for the rookie, allowing the fifth-most points to the position and an average of 189 rushing yards in their two games heading into the bye. Jaleel McLaughlin did vulture a touchdown from Harvey in Week 11, but he’s not a factor in fantasy at this point.
Wide Receiver
Courtland Sutton: START, WR2
Troy Franklin: START, WR2
Pat Bryant: SIT
Over the Broncos’ past three games, it’s been Troy Franklin with the largest target share, seeing 25.2% of Nix’s pass attempts compared to just 15.5% for Courtland Sutton. Franklin is in the middle of a hostile takeover as the WR1 for Denver, but both are startable in Week 13 against the Commanders, a top-three fantasy matchup for wide receivers
Tight End
Evan Engram: SIT
Adam Trautman: SIT

Defense/Special Teams
Denver Broncos: START
Are the Broncos on bye?
Yes: Don’t start their DST
No: Start their DST
Washington Commanders
Quarterback
Jayden Daniels
Marcus Mariota: SIT
Marcus Mariota has been a serviceable Superflex starter at times this season, but there is zero chance you’re starting him against Denver’s stout secondary. The Broncos allowed four passing touchdowns in the four games leading to their Week 12 bye and held opposing quarterbacks to the second-fewest fantasy points this season.
Running Back
Chris Rodriguez Jr.: SIT
Jacory Croskey-Merritt: SIT
Jeremy McNichols: SIT
Chris Rodriguez Jr. is reportedly being considered the lead back for Washington coming out of the bye, but it doesn’t really matter. He has the ceiling of a center for ants. Jacrory Croskey-Merritt‘s highest fantasy point total since Week 7 is 5.1 points. If he’s still on your team, fix that. Jeremy McNichols seems like a nice guy.
Wide Receiver
Terry McLaurin: SIT
Deebo Samuel: START, WR3
There’s a chance that Terry McLaurin returns against the Broncos, but he shouldn’t return to your lineup. Denver allows the fewest fantasy points to the position, and McLaurin’s been a shell of himself this season. Deebo Samuel has emerged as a versatile weapon for Washington and has become the go-to guy for Mariota. He’ll have an uphill battle for fantasy production against Denver, but his usage and role keep him startable.
Tight End
Zach Ertz: tHe gLoB
Want 10 points? Pray for a touchdown.
Defense/Special Teams
Washington Commanders: SIT
Washington is allowing 32.7 points per game over their last three.
