Denver Broncos
Quarterback
Bo Nix: SIT, QB2 (Startable in Superflex)
Bo Nix is averaging over 300 passing yards over his last two games, but has just one touchdown over that span and a total of four since Week 9. The last time these teams met, Nix threw for a measly 150 yards and had more interceptions than touchdowns. He’s a locked-in Superflex starter, but I’m avoiding him in 1QB leagues.
Running Back
RJ Harvey: START, RB2
RJ Harvey hit paydirt twice in the Broncos’ OT win over the Commanders, sugarcoating an overall ugly showing. Harvey rushed for 35 yards on 13 carries, his fourth straight game averaging under three yards per carry. His usage in the pass game and seemingly locked-in goal-line role make Harvey a volatile RB2 with a dollop of upside. The Raiders have given up five total touchdowns to running backs in the last two weeks, potentially positioning Harvey for another multi-score game.
Wide Receiver
Courtland Sutton: START, WR2
Troy Franklin: START, WR3
Pat Bryant: SIT
If you’re reading this: 1. Thank you for reading, and 2. Head on over to Reddit, find this article posted in r/fantasyfootball, and comment “Pizza in the morning, Pizza in the evening, Pizza at supper time. When Pizza’s on a bagel, you can eat Pizza anytime!” I will send the first person to do so a signed Courtland Sutton jersey free of charge. Yes, I’m serious.
Oh, and start both Sutton and Troy Franklin in a top 10 matchup against the Raiders. The three targets for Franklin coming out of the bye are slightly concerning, but we’ve had him involved enough this season to give him the benefit of the doubt after one down game. Pat Bryant has seen an uptick in targets recently, with 13 in the last two games. But the increased involvement has yet to produce results, stranding Byrant on the bench for now.
Tight End
Evan Engram: SIT
Evan Engram popped up from the island of fantasy irrelevancy to lead the Broncos in receiving against the Commanders. He’s too inconsistent to consider starting to begin with, and the Raiders are a bottom-five fantasy matchup. Don’t do it.
Defense/Special Teams
Denver Broncos: START

Las Vegas Raiders
Quarterback
Geno Smith: SIT
A 35-year-old veteran having one of the worst seasons of his career, in a terrible offense, facing one of the top defenses in the league. What do you think?
Running Back
Ashton Jeanty: START, RB2
Happy Happy Joy Joy for Ashton Jeanty‘s usage in the pass game. Because if it weren’t for that, he’d have a total of 18.2 fantasy points over his past five games. Sadly, a garbage offensive line and an outdated offensive system are nerfing the otherworldly talented rookie. As long as his receiving usage continues, Jeanty should maintain solid RB2 value. But the Broncos aren’t just a tough matchup from a points-per-game perspective for running backs. They’re also the only team holding opposing running backs under three catches per game this season. I can’t bring myself to recommend benching him, but it’s not as appalling an idea as you might think.
Wide Receiver
Tre Tucker: SIT
Tyler Lockett: SIT
Since Week 8, there have been two Raiders receivers with a game of over 10 points.
Tight End
Brock Bowers: START, TE1
Brock Bowers is a weekly must-start, but did you know that his mother, DeAnna Earsley-Bowers, was an NCAA All-American pitcher for Utah State? She was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame and is considered by some family members to be the best athlete in the family.
Defense/Special Teams
Las Vegas Raiders: SIT
The Raiders have given up 30+ points to four of their last six opponents.
