Tennessee Titans
Quarterbacks
Will Levis (Sit)
Will Levis and the Titans couldn’t get anything going in the blowout loss to the Jags last week. Levis completed 13 of just 17 attempts for 158 yards, and two garbage-time touchdowns. He hasn’t been the worst rookie QB to date – that’ll be his opponent this week – but Levis doesn’t offer fantasy value at this time.
Running Backs
Derrick Henry (Start, RB1), Tyjae Spears (Sit)
It’s been a frustrating season for Derrick Henry. He is coming off a game in which he had just 10 carries for 38 scoreless yards against Jacksonville. Week 10 wasn’t any better for him either – 11 for 24 yards – but better days should be ahead this week against the Panthers. Carolina is allowing the second-most fantasy points to opposing RBs on the year, so look for King Henry to bounce back and reclaim his throne.
Tyjae Spears has been a name to watch seemingly all season, but for the most part, he hasn’t been much of a fantasy factor. At best, he’ll remain a handcuff to Henry.
Wide Receivers/Tight End
DeAndre Hopkins (Start, WR3), Chigoziem Okonwko (Sit)
DeAndre Hopkins remains the only Titans receiver worth starting, and even he should be considered matchup-dependent with Levis under center. Nuk did catch a touchdown in the loss to the Jags, and it saved his fantasy day, as he had four total receptions for just 59 yards. The Carolina defense is actually strong against receivers, allowing the 29th-most fantasy points to the opposition, but consider Hopkins a viable WR3.
Chigoziem Okonwko is going through it this season after a hyped-up summer. He had just one catch on two targets for six yards last week, and is just not a recommended streaming option at TE.
Carolina Panthers
Quarterback
Bryce Young (Sit)
Another name who is going through it is rookie Bryce Young. He owns a 9:8 passing touchdown-to-INT ratio, and the Panthers are 1-9 on the season. The growing pains have been real for Young, and hopefully, better days are ahead as he finishes out his first year in the league.
Running Backs
Chuba Hubbard (Sit), Miles Sanders (Sit)
Chuba Hubbard and Miles Sanders are two names not worth having in your lineup this week against the Titans. Despite the fact that the Titans are allowing the 20th-most fantasy points to RBs on the season, both Hubbard and Sanders just aren’t producing consistently enough. It’s also worth noting that with Sanders back in the fold, he had 11 carries last week to Hubbard’s 10, but Hubbard owned a higher snap % per FantasyData.
Wide Receivers/Tight Ends
Adam Thielen (Start, WR3), Tommy Tremble (Sit), Hayden Hurst (Sit)
Head coach Frank Reich took back play-calling duties, and naturally, Adam Thielen benefited from it. Having caught eight of 11 targets for 74 yards, he now has 21 total targets, 14 receptions, and 116 total yards between the last two games. Tennessee is allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to WRs on the year, so look for Thielen to remain on the WR3 radar – perhaps even with WR2 upside – and be the only Panther receiver worth starting.
Tommy Tremble caught a touchdown with Hayden Hurst out last week against Dallas due to a concussion. Even if Hurst is back this week, neither he nor Tremble offers fantasy value.
